A Quilt of Dreams: A Novel
This book is not my favourite of hers. I found Gershon very much like another character from one of her other novels called A Time of Angels. The book seemed very muddled - until about half way through she was just explaining the lives of many characters and only towards the end can the reader really understand what they all have to do with one another.
One of the positive points is that it brings two major historical events into one novel so it is very informative and detailed as to how life was during the Holocaust and Apartheid.
